Call for Podcast Guests: Miles Beyond the Page Is Booking Themed Episodes for Oct–Dec

I’m officially opening submissions for upcoming themed episodes of Miles Beyond the Page—and I’d love to hear from you if your books, your author journey, or your craft expertise would make a great fit.
If you’re new here, Miles Beyond the Page is my podcast where I chat with authors about writing, publishing, creativity, and the real-life ups and downs of the writing life. It’s a space for honest conversations, inspiration, practical insight, and celebrating the many different paths authors take.
For the upcoming season, I’m booking guests for October through December, and each month will have a special theme.
October Theme: Spooky Books • Spooky Craft
October is for all things eerie, atmospheric, and deliciously unsettling.
I’m looking for authors and creatives whose work touches on things like paranormal romance, gothic romance, dark fantasy, urban fantasy, horror, thrillers, haunted houses, witches, monsters, curses, creepy small towns, morally gray heroes, and those glorious something-is-not-right vibes.
I’m also very interested in craft-focused conversations around writing tension, suspense, twists, dread, eerie settings, emotional unease, and the kind of chills that linger after the last page.
November Theme: Gratitude • Cozy • Community
November will shift into something warmer, softer, and more reflective.
This month is all about comfort reads, found family, hope and healing, cozy fantasy, cozy mystery, cozy romance, reader community, author friendships, creative rituals, gratitude practices, and the stories or habits that help carry us through hard seasons.
If your work or your creative life speaks to warmth, connection, encouragement, or building community, I’d love to hear your pitch.
December Theme: Holiday Magic
December is for sparkle, wonder, and a little seasonal enchantment.
I’m looking for guests whose work fits holiday romance, winter fantasy, festive releases, magical settings, beloved traditions, joyful storytelling, giving and receiving, and end-of-year reflection with a celebratory tone.
If your books bring winter wonder, holiday heart, or seasonal magic, this is your month.
